| Workum/Warkum. Grote of St.-Gertrudiskerk (1480). Grootste middeleeuwse kruiskerk in Friesland. Van het schip zijn slechts twee en een halve travee voltooid met uitzondering van de Latijnse school die er dwars op staat. De kerk staat bekend om een unieke serie beschilderde Gildebaren waarop leden van de gildes ten grave werden gedragen. Ook de toren is onvoltooid en in 1613 afgesloten met een tentdak en voorzien van een kleine koepel. Stadhuis. Hoofdgebouw uit de middeleeuwen. In 1727 is het gebouw 'ommetseld' en voorzien van een nieuwe bekapping. Het pand naast het stadhuis stamt uit 1620 en heeft gebeeldhouwde friezen in de trapgevel. (Friese Huisje).
